Hi, I’m Marina Levy!
I have been crocheting since I was 5 years old. It was my very first hobby and the first craft I ever learned — and that is what started my lifelong passion for handmade crafts!
As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed creating and learning new techniques. I graduated from art school in Minsk, specializing in folk arts such as weaving, pottery, straw weaving and many others.
Although I graduated from art school, life took me in different directions. I invested in building a career — today I work professionally as a database implementor, specializing in SAP Business One and WMS SQL systems. It is a pretty technical job, and I love it! It turns out that the same analytical mind that helps me work with complex database systems also helps me design intricate crochet and knitting patterns — who knew?
Everything changed personally when my eldest daughter was born — I wanted to decorate her room and her life with something colorful, interesting and beautiful. Since then I create every free moment I have. My amazing daughters are my inspiration every day!
Over the years my passion for crafts has grown far beyond crochet. Today I design and create:
- Amigurumi crochet patterns
- Double knitting patterns — scarves, coasters and pillows
- Novelty knitted hats
- Purse and pillow patterns
- Geeky designs — Warhammer 40K, MCU, Rammstein and more!
I believe that crafting is for everyone — whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced maker. That is why all my patterns include detailed written instructions and symbol charts, making them accessible and easy to follow.
